It’s that time of the year once more: fundraising for MacMillan Cancer 2022

We will be holding a MacMillan Coffee morning on Monday 26th September & Wednesday September 28th.* We will be offering delicious cakes and biscuits, dried seeds, plants and a raffle on the day, so do come along if you are able. 9 – 12 noon in The Hub coffee bar.

*Please note change of date in response to the date of the funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II

Thank you for joining us at our Virtual Coffee Morning on September 26th

A busy, early morning start for Christine, Tom, Michael and Karen on Saturday, arriving at church at 8.30 a.m. to box up cakes in a socially distant manner. Everyone had been baking so the cakes were cut, wrapped and boxed to be ready for distribution. Then it was off to all those people we knew were going to be home to deliver their cakes, collect donations for Macmillan and collect Harvest items for next week’s All Age Harvest service. Really: nothing stops a Macmillan Coffee Morning!

It was wonderful to see and hear members of the congregation online after the cake delivery run. They were very complimentary about the cakes and we put the world to rights over cake and coffee.
